Type TurnKey engine is a fully developed, ready to install,
complete
engine assembly. Each of these engines couple our assembly, development
and highly scrutenized components into one "well oiled machine" capable
of providing a level of fun that far exceeds their cost in dollars! Our TurnKey engines are sold in 3 different displacements that have proven to be our most effective, providing universal performance for a vast array of applications and driving styles. All engines come complete with our Type 1 DTM cooling system, all new Aircooled Technology/ Bugpack components and have the option of single or dual spark plugs per cylinder. We have grouped the engines we have had the best experiences with over the years here for your selection. The engines you see here are the only displacements that we offer, full-on custUnlike other companies we will not allow the customer the ability to select camshafts, compression ratio or other design particular aspects of the engine. We feel that allowing the customer to dictate these pertinent aspects of engine design are counter-productive to the engine. "TurnKey Engine" This engine is offered primarily to Special Edition Inc. as their "Base Engine" for the Beck 550 Spyder. The 90HP 1915cc engine couples smooth, reliable power with the capability of future upgrades that could allow for as much as 140HP from the same engine with only cam and head alterations. Making 110 lb/ft of torque, this engine is a lower revving engine with a ton of low down power and midrange. The 90 HP engine comes complete with Weber 34 ICT Carburetors, Aircooled Technology Type 1 DTM Cooling System, all new parts, RAT intermediate dynamic balance services and full dyno tuning. This engine is not capable of twin plug ignition or any other optional items. 4,150.00 1914cc, 125 HP "TurnKey Engine" This state of tune for the 1914cc engine is our most universal and the most popular of the two 1915cc engine offerings. The 125HP engine has a broad operating range with a ton of mid-range power. Reliability and longevity are maintained with this engine and it's character is perfect for a lightweight application like the Beck 550 Spyder or Speedster. The 125HP version of the 1914cc engine comes complete with Dual 44 mm carburetors, 40X35.5mm valved high velocity heads, Aircooled Technology DTM Cooling System, RAT intermediate dynamic balance services and full Dyno tuning. The 125HP engine has a "Upgraded" variant that couples RAT twin plug ignition along with CNC ported heads to the standard 125HP engine offering up to 150HP without a loss of reliability or longevity. The Twin Plug ignition arrangement with the high output ignition system increases MPG and engine smoothness while reducing engine temperatures. 1914cc 125HP TurnKey complete engine 5,200.00 Upgrade to CNC ported, twin plug heads including all necessary components and RAT "Race Balance": 1600.00 Add a matched transaxle for 1,350.00 Stage II 2165cc 165HP TurnKey complete engine. This medium displacement performance engine offers a very broad rev range with power at all RPM ranges equally. The 165HP engine has a broad operating range with a ton of mid-range and top end power and is best suited for any replicar or a lightweight performance sedan. The 165HP, 2165cc engine comes complete with Dual 44 mm carburetors, 42X37.5mm valved high velocity heads, Aircooled Technology DTM Cooling System, RAT intermediate dynamic balance services and full Dyno tuning. The 2165cc engine has a "Upgraded" variant that couples RAT twin plug ignition along with CNC ported heads to the standard engine, offering up to 180HP without a loss of reliability or longevity. The Twin Plug ignition arrangement with the high output ignition system increases MPG and engine smoothness while reducing engine temperatures. 5,600.00 Upgrade to CNC ported, twin plug heads including all necessary components and RAT "Race Balance": 1600.00 Add a matched transaxle for 1,350.00 Stage III 2332cc, 190 HP "TurnKey Engine" The 2332 engine is our most powerful normally aspirated engine, providing phenomenol acceleration and unreal performance at all RPM ranges all the way to the 7,250 RPM redline!!! Reliability and longevity are not primary objectives for this engine, it's character is perfect for a lightweight application like the Beck 550 Spyder or Speedster or a lightweight performance sedan that isn't driven daily, or expected to live a long, maintenance free life. The 210HP version of the 2332cc engine comes complete with Dual 48 mm carburetors, 44X37.5mm valved high velocity heads, Aircooled Technology DTM Cooling System, RAT RACE balance services and full Dyno tuning. The 210HP engine has a "Upgraded" variant that couples RAT twin plug cylinder heads to the standard 210HP engine offering up to 225HP. The Twin Plug ignition arrangement with the high output ignition system increases MPG and engine smoothness while reducing engine temperatures. 2332cc 210HP TurnKey complete engine 7,000.00 Upgrade to Twin Plug heads including all necessary components and RAT "Race Balance": 1450.00 Add a matched transaxle for 1,850.00 Forced Induction versions of the 1914 and 2332cc engines are available as special order items.
